We are currently hiring Registered Massage Therapists [RMT’s] for a contractor position to join our team.
New WEST Location Opening Soon
We are excited to announce that our new COP | West location is anticipated to open at the beginning of July (start date to be confirmed).
In the meantime, therapists will have the opportunity to pick up shifts at our South location as available.
We are currently recruiting for shifts at both COP | West and Avenida | South locations.
Shift Times:
- AM Shift: 9:00 AM – 3:15 PM
- PM Shift: 3:45 PM – 9:15 PM

Must be available mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Schedules may include 1–4 shifts weekly based on availability and operational needs.
ROLE OVERVIEW
At Cedar & Steam, Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are essential to creating personalized, holistic experiences that promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being.
As an RMT, you will play a key role in delivering treatments tailored to each guest’s unique needs, ensuring a consistently high-quality and restorative experience. Our collaborative team environment fosters a positive, supportive atmosphere where RMTs connect with guests, colleagues, and guests, building strong relationships and cultivating guest loyalty. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience & Retention : Deliver exceptional service by building lasting relationships, tailoring treatments to individual needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a positive and informative guest experience that fosters loyalty and repeat bookings.
Therapeutic Services: Deliver a variety of personalized massage techniques and restorative treatments based on guest needs, ensuring comfort, relaxation, and therapeutic benefits throughout each session.
The following modalities are strongly encouraged:
- Cupping
- Hot Stone Massage
- Lymphatic Drainage
Deep tissue massage experience is required.
Wellness Education: Promote and educate guests on wellness products and therapies that align with their needs, enhancing their overall spa experience and supporting their wellness journey.
Administration: Follow Cedar & Steam’s policies and procedures, accurately document treatments (SOAP Notes) and recommendations, and maintain clear communication with management and team members to ensure efficient spa operations.
Sanitation & Cleanliness: Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols, maintain organized and hygienic massage rooms and equipment, and ensure the spa remains clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
Team Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with contractors, spa leadership, and staff to ensure smooth operations, offer flexibility with scheduling, and foster a positive, supportive team atmosphere.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Massage Therapy diploma (minimum 2200-hour certification) from an accredited massage therapy school required
- First Aid & CPR certification required
- Professional association membership required
- Business license required
- Insurance required
- WHMIS certification required
- Certifications in cupping, aroma detox, hot stone massage, lymphatic drainage, or other modalities are considered assets
Experience
- Previous experience as a Registered Massage Therapist required
- Strong understanding of various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release
- Customer service experience required with strong relationship-building abilities
- Experience with Mindbody software preferred
- Spa or wellness industry experience considered an asset
