Job Summary

PuroClean Calgary is a rapidly growing Property Disaster Restoration team and has immediate openings for experienced Restoration Technicians and like-minded hardworking individuals. Rapid growth creates career advancement opportunities. We offer personal growth for all our staff. Our line of work involves restoring residential and commercial properties after water and fire loss, smoke damage, mold and biohazard contamination, vandalism and other property related disaster events. We put lives back together, we put businesses back on their feet, we have a true positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Employee’s can expect to participate in the following work activities:

Responding to property disasters by providing relentless customer service to our clients.
Assist other team members with property deconstruction and debris removal.
Learn and utilize various computer programs, mobile apps and equipment to complete each project efficiently.
Participate in the On Call schedule for servicing after hours emergencies on a rotating basis.
Mitigation equipment set up, monitoring and removal.
Maintenance, cleaning and monitoring of drying equipment used in the mitigation process.
Assist all team members to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Education, Skills and Qualifications:

Prospective Team Members will be the most successful if they posses the following:

Legal eligibility to work in Canada;
Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Clean criminal record;
Clean driving record;
Consistently maintain high level of excellent customer satisfaction.
Positive attitude;
Take pride of ownership in your work.

Physical Requirements

Reasonable level of physical fitness to meet the physical demands and/or conditions customary for this type of work. Property restoration is a highly rewarding and, can be, a physically demanding industry. You should be capable of moving furniture and other household contents as well as required equipment;
Comfortability with working in restricted spaces such as crawlspaces and attics;
Ability to work for extended periods of time while wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

General Requirements

Basic-level computer literacy;
Mature, reliable, punctual, and just a fun person to be around;
Effective verbal and written communication skills;
Good interpersonal skills and great sensitivity to customers’ difficult situations;
Good problem solving, decision making and analytical skills;
Hardworking, trainable and work well in a team-oriented setting; we work hard and we enjoy each other’s company.

Previous experience in the restoration industry is a valuable asset!
