Company Overview
Clean Brite Canada is a well-established commercial cleaning company serving clients across Calgary and surrounding areas. We provide cleaning services for commercial buildings, housing units, public facilities, industrial spaces, and municipal sites.
We are currently building our cleaner and subcontractor candidate pool to support current work, future growth, and coverage gaps. Work may include Calgary Housing unit cleans, and potential upcoming City / Transit work.
Position Summary
Clean Brite Canada is looking for reliable, detail-oriented cleaners and subcontractor cleaning teams who are interested in joining our workforce pool for current and upcoming cleaning opportunities.
This posting is suitable for individuals with commercial cleaning experience, subcontractor teams, and cleaners who are interested in flexible, part-time, full-time, evening, daytime, weekend, or project-based work as opportunities become available.
Successful candidates may be considered for commercial cleaning, unit cleans, public facility cleaning, day porter work, deficiency follow-up cleans, coverage shifts, special projects, or future contract start-ups.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Clean and refresh washrooms, kitchens, common areas, offices, public areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Handle garbage removal and waste disposal safely and responsibly.
- Clean windows, glass, doors, fixtures, counters, cabinets, appliances, and other surfaces as required by the job scope.
- Follow site-specific checklists, work orders, and cleaning instructions.
- Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, hazards, access issues, or unusual site conditions.
- Take and submit photos or notes when required with own mobile device.
- Communicate clearly with Clean Brite supervisors, coordinators, clients, or subcontractor leads.
- Arrive on time and complete assigned work within the expected timeframe.
- Maintain a professional appearance and respectful conduct while on site.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial, janitorial, custodial, office cleaning, industrial cleaning, construction cleaning, or unit-turnover cleaning experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable cleaning washrooms, kitchens, public areas, offices, and high-touch surfaces.
- Able to communicate clearly in English with supervisors, clients, and co-workers.
- Able to report issues, deficiencies, and complete work accurately.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
- Customer-service mindset when working around clients, tenants, staff, or members of the public.
Additional Assets
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment.
- Experience with move-out cleans, public facilities, municipal buildings, transit cleaning, or industrial sites.
- Experience using mobile apps, Teams, ZenMaid, or other job communication tools.
- WHMIS, First Aid, safety training, lift training, or other relevant certifications.
- Subcontractor team availability.
- Flexible availability for daytime, evening, weekend, or short-notice coverage.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation is required.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the assignment.
- A recent police check or clean police record may be required for some sites.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Ability to walk large floor areas and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs where required.
- Must be dependable and able to arrive and leave on time.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation
Compensation will depend on the site, shift, experience, and whether the work is employee-based, subcontractor-based, or project-based.
Typical cleaner wage range: $23–$25 per hour, depending on assignment and experience.
