Full job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports day-to-day accounts receivable operations by ensuring payments are processed accurately and financial activities are managed efficiently within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills, operational experience, and the ability to support both team performance and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate payment processing and reconciliations.
Support the team with complex payment issues and manual transaction reviews.
Monitor workloads, resolve processing issues, and maintain accuracy across AR activities.
Lead, coach, and mentor team members to support performance and development.
Partner with sales and client-facing teams to resolve payment and account inquiries.
Communicate with clients to address payment discrepancies and outstanding receivables.
Oversee collections activities with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Collaborate with operations leadership to improve processes and team performance.
Support related receivables functions within managed services operations.

5+ years of accounts receivable experience, including team leadership in a high-volume environment.
Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff.
Strong knowledge of AR processes, billing, invoicing, payment application, and collections.
Experience with Oracle preferred, especially in AR or payment processing.
Proficient with CRM systems and tools such as Concur.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills for complex account activity.
Excellent communication, customer service, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
