<Job Summary>
Join Bay River College as an Admission Officer, where your enthusiasm and communication skills will inspire prospective students to embark on their educational journey. In this vital role, you will serve as a passionate advocate for our institution, guiding prospective students through the admissions process with clarity and confidence. Your energy and dedication will help shape the future of eager learners by providing personalized support, detailed information, and motivating encouragement at every step. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your expertise in education administration and student engagement.

<Responsibilities>

Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, in-person, and online channels.
Provide accurate information about admission requirements, program offerings, tuition, schedules, deadlines, and campus services.
Participate in college recruitment activities such as open houses, campus tours, community events, and school visits.
Review and evaluate student applications for completeness and eligibility based on admission standards.
Check supporting documentation (transcripts, diplomas, test scores, English proficiency, etc.) and follow up with applicants for missing information.
Enter and maintain application and student data accurately in the admissions tracking system (CRM/SIS)
Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract diverse student populations through outreach events, high school visits, and community engagement
Guide applicants through the admission process, answering questions and explaining procedures from inquiry to acceptance.
Refer students to financial services, program advisors, or international student support as required.
Assist admitted students with next steps, including orientation materials and enrollment confirmations.
Collaborate with College staff and faculty to ensure a seamless admissions experience for all applicants

<Skills>

Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse audiences
Strong background in education administration, academic advising, or related fields within higher education
Proven experience in admission counselling
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from various backgrounds and educational levels
Previous College experience in Admissions team is highly appreciated for this role.
Exceptional organizational skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
