The Role
We're hiring a Dishwasher who wants to be a vital part of our kitchen engine. In our kitchen, the dish pit is the backbone of the entire operation—without you, everything grinds to a halt. We treat our dishwashers with massive respect. We’re looking for someone who is fast, reliable, organized, and takes pride in keeping the team armed with clean plates, pans, and tools. We move fast, we care about the details, and we’d rather have a great teammate with a strong work ethic than a perfect resume.
What You'll Do

Command the Pit: Wash, sanitize, and properly organize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen pans quickly and efficiently.

Keep the Line Armed: Return clean plates, sauté pans, and prep tools to the line cooks and bartenders so they never run out during a heavy rush.

Maintain Kitchen Safety: Keep the dish area clean, dry, and organized. Safely operate and maintain the commercial dish machine.

Manage Waste: Empty kitchen trash cans, recycling, and compost bins throughout the shift, making sure they are replaced and kept tidy.

Pitch In: Assist the culinary team with light prep work (like peeling veggies) or handling daytime load-ins when time permits, and help with nightly kitchen floor sweep-and-mops.

Available Nights & Weekends: Most shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, covering our high-volume dinner rushes and late-night closes.

Physically Able: You can stand for long shifts, handle wet/hot conditions, and comfortably lift heavy dish racks or trash bags (up to 40–50 lbs).
Required

18+ (Required to work late-night closing shifts in our licensed environment).

A strong work ethic and the ability to work safely and quickly.
Nice to Have

Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen helper in a busy restaurant or bar (but not required—we will train anyone with the right attitude!).

Valid Alberta Food Safety Certification.
