Job Summary

The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of service and efficiency. This position requires a proactive individual who can lead by example, motivate staff, and drive operational excellence. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing resources, developing team members, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in daily operations management and decision-making processes.
Supervise staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of service.
Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Analyze sales reports and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with various departments to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting as required.
Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers.
Proficient in problem-solving with a keen ability to analyze situations and implement solutions.
Organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience in customer service or hospitality management is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Familiarity with financial management principles is a plus.
Proficient in using computer software for reporting and communication purposes.
