Full job description

Wilco Contractors is hiring a wide variety of skill sets for our Concrete Projects and Divisions. Please see details below.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Requirements are below;

Concrete Finishers;

Directing Concrete Truck upon site arrival.
Pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete.
Monitoring the effects of the weather on the curing process.
Applying sealing and hardening components.
Safely operating power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted.
Molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools.
Polishing surface using a power surfacing machine.
Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
Place and finish concrete on commercial, industrial and residential projects.
Ability to work in a team environment.·
Must have an attention to detail.·

Form-worker/Concrete Prep Carpenter;

Working knowledge in Carpentry/Prep/Forms, Concrete and related materials and tasks (Setting up forms, cutting/bending steel, nailing forms to ladders, use of nail guns and saws, stripping lumber off footing, bracing walls).
Working knowledge of methods, techniques and equipment required.
Valid Driver’s License
Full Carpentry pouch and basic tools

Skilled Labourer;

1 year Construction experience(wheelbarrowing, raking, shovelling, cleaning, form stripping).
1 year concrete experience would be an asset
WHMIS or CSTS basic safety knowledge
