What you will be doing:

Perform basic laboratory procedures, including the preparation of samples, reagents, standards, and calibration solutions.
Provide general laboratory support, including washing glassware, cleaning workstations, and proper waste disposal.
Operate analytical instruments such as IC and ICP under the guidance of senior staff.
Assist with routine instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Perform basic analytical testing and record data according to established procedures.
Adhere to laboratory safety, quality assurance, and standard operating procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:

Post-secondary education with a Chemical degree/diploma or equivalent experience
Previous work lab experience is an asset, training will be provided
Experience in IC & general lab skills an asset
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail with good organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Team player with the ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment
