Full job description

We are a growing Business Management and Communications firm serving the Calgary area. As we continue expanding and working with one of the fastest-growing companies in the region, we are looking for full-time Management Assistants to join our team immediately.

This is an excellent entry level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, wants to build their professional skills, and is looking for hands-on experience in sales, customer service, marketing, and business management. Our Entry Level Management Assistants help execute field marketing campaigns, connect with customers, and create new sales opportunities while receiving ongoing skill development, advancing from an entry level role.

Responsibilities of the Entry Level Management Assistant:

Support field marketing and business management campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate new sales opportunities
Represent our clients through engaging, face-to-face presentations and customer interactions
Provide an exceptional customer experience while identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions
Participate in hands-on training, virtual workshops, team meetings, and professional development sessions
Build positive relationships with customers and provide continued support throughout the customer experience
Work alongside the management and account teams to develop creative solutions to customer questions and objections
Work toward individual and team sales goals while representing our clients throughout the Calgary area

Qualities and Skills We’re Looking For:

Degree or education in Marketing, Management, Business, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or a related field is an asset but not required for this entry level role
Experience in sales, retail, customer service, hospitality, technology, business, or other people-focused environments is an asset
Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with different types of people
Positive, outgoing personality with a willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a motivated, self-starting attitude
Excellent in-person communication and active listening skills
Comfortable working toward goals and taking on new challenges
Reliable, coachable, and eager to grow within a team
No previous management experience is required - this is an entry level position
