KH/Dunkley Law Group is a growing Calgary-based law firm with a strong focus on real estate, corporate, and wills and estates law. Role Description and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience. This full-time, on-site role in Calgary offers the opportunity to work on high-quality commercial real estate files and financing matters, while being part of a supportive team that values initiative and strong client service. Your work will include a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including but not limited to:

Preparing, reviewing and managing documents for commercial purchase and sale transactions from inception to closing, including purchase and sale of commercial buildings, new community developer and builder sales, and new condominium sales;
Coordinating commercial financing transactions, including in relation to acquisitions, refinances, and construction loan facilities;
Corresponding with clients, lenders, builders, developers, condominium managers, law firms, and other relevant parties;
Working closely with the supervising lawyer and other team members;
Assisting with financing transactions for lenders and borrowers, including construction financing, CMHC financing, and private financing;
Completing due diligence searches, title reviews, and registrations with the Land Titles Office, the Personal Property Registry, and other public registries;
Handling trust funds;
Reporting to clients;
Maintaining workflows and monitoring deadlines;

Qualifications and Requirements:

Strong experience with commercial real estate and financing transactions;
Ability to work cooperatively in a true team environment;
Critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
At least 3 years of direct work experience;
superior organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with employees, lawyers, clients, departments, and external agencies;
Strong technical skills, meticulous records maintenance skills;
Experience in residential real estate experience or corporate law is an asset;
Familiarity with Resolve and Leap software would be an asset.
