Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their time at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where animal welfare and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.

Duties

Supervise and interact with dogs to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day
Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries
Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the play areas, kennels, and common spaces
Assist with entering and exiting dogs
Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ activities and health
Observe and report any signs of illness or distress in the animals
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both dogs and staff

Requirements

Prior experience working with animals is required; a genuine love for dogs is essential
Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, including lifting crates or supplies up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during shifts
Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail in caring for animals
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm and patience
Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed is a plus
