Full job description

We’re Hiring: Carpenter

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated carpenter to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on cutting and assembling frames for custom furniture, working from drawings or photos to create accurate cut lists and deliver high-quality work.

This is a stable, long-term position. If you are looking for steady work and want to grow with a company over time, this could be a great fit.

You should be comfortable working independently, while also being a strong team player.

Being open to learning new technology and improving processes is important for success in this role.

What You’ll Do:

Cut and assemble frames for custom furniture from start to finish
Work from drawings, photos, or design ideas to create cut lists and build plans
Build and finish components such as legs and frame bases
Complete finishing work including sanding, staining, and painting
Participate in site measures and installations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Support a positive and team-focused work environment
Opportunity to grow into a Team Lead role, helping guide and support others

What You Bring:

Strong carpentry skills with experience in cutting, assembling, and finishing
Experience with finishing work (sanding, staining, painting)
High attention to detail — you take pride in your work and are very particular about quality
Ability to read drawings or build from photos
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with little guidance
Leadership skills are an asset
Experience with AutoCAD, or willingness to learn
