Full job description

We are avidly seeking a motivated CNC Lathe Machinist, who is eager to learn and expand his/her knowledge and experience. The candidate must contribute to the excellent quality of workmanship we strive for and produce at Matrix Machining Ltd.

What you bring:

-positive attitude with the willingness to learn

-strong analytical and problem solving skills

-knowledge of using precision measuring instruments

-ability to read and understand work orders and drawings

-ability to ask for help when unsure of anything

-good attendance and punctuality

-pride in workmanship

Responsibilities:

-setup and operate CNC Lathe Machines

-verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments

-accurately read work orders, drawings and other information pertaining to the specific job

-detect and correct equipment malfunctions to ensure quality production

-maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

Qualifications: CNC Setup and Operator

Wage dependent on experience

Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
