Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sausage Maker and Smoke House Operator to join our team in Calgary. This role is vital in ensuring the production of premium meat products that align with our company's commitment to excellence. The position is based in Calgary and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food processing environment.
Responsibilities

Prepare and cook various meat products, including sausages and smoked meats, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Operate specialized equipment for smoking, curing, and processing meats.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area to comply with food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed.
Work with minimal supervision to meet production targets.
Ensure all products are prepared according to recipes and safety guidelines.
Assist in maintaining records of production processes and quality checks.
Qualifications
Proven experience in meat processing, sausage making, or smokehouse operations.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
Ability to operate specialized cooking and smoking equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills in English; Polish language skills are an asset.
Physical ability to handle meat products and stand for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food handling are preferred.
