Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Financial Controller to oversee and manage our company's financial activities on a contractual or hourly basis. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. Duties
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
- Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify the integrity of financial data
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or other relevant platforms for data entry and reporting
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing detailed financial insights and forecasts
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies related to financial transactions
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation
Skills
