Whoa Doggie is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and professional Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to join our growing team! If you love spending your days outdoors, building relationships with dogs and their families, and working independently while being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a long-term position with room to grow as our business continues to expand.
What You'll Do:
- Provide 30-45 minute dog walks tailored to each dog's individual needs.
- Visit pets in their homes for drop-in visits and potty breaks.
- Provide overnight pet sitting in clients' homes or at our boarding facility when available.
- Communicate with clients through detailed visit updates, photos, and report cards.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Passionate about dogs and has experience.
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working independently and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Confident handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and personalities.
Requirements
- Reliable personal vehicle (required).
- Valid driver's licence and insurance.
- Available Monday-Friday during daytime hours for regular dog walking routes.
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for pet sitting assignments.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Smartphone with reliable internet access.
