About Elevate Movement Therapies

Elevate Movement Therapies is a non-profit, multidisciplinary rehabilitation and wellness clinic that brings together a variety of healthcare and movement professionals under one roof. We support people with a wide range of needs, from injury recovery and ongoing health conditions to improving movement, strength, and overall well-being.

Elevate shares a collaborative clinic space with Synaptic Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, creating a unique environment with a broad range of rehabilitation professionals, services, and clients.

We are a collaborative and evolving clinic, and our front desk team plays an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for Elevate clients and practitioners.

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and adaptable. You communicate clearly, pay attention to detail, and can confidently manage changing priorities while keeping the front desk running smoothly.

Healthcare experience isn’t required. What matters most is that you’re curious, willing to learn, comfortable taking initiative, and able to create a welcoming and professional experience for clients and practitioners.

What You'll Do

As Elevates Receptionist, you'll help keep the day-to-day clinic running smoothly while creating a positive experience for clients, families, visitors, and practitioners.

Responsibilities may include:

Welcoming clients, families, and visitors and responding to phone, email, and general inquiries
Managing client appointments and practitioner schedules, including booking, rescheduling, cancellations, waitlists, and scheduling conflicts
Helping clients navigate Elevates services and connect with the appropriate practitioner or discipline
Maintaining accurate client records and communicating appointment, availability, and clinic information
Processing payments, providing receipts, and supporting direct billing and insurance processes where applicable
Supporting referrals, forms, intake processes, and other day-to-day clinic administration
Communicating with practitioners regarding scheduling and client needs and providing general administrative support to the team
Supporting clinic operations, including treatment space preparation, opening and closing procedures, organization, privacy and confidentiality, and ongoing process improvements

What You'll Learn

You won't be expected to be a clinical expert, but we'll help you develop a working understanding of the services available at Elevate and how they work together.

This includes learning about our different areas of care, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, psychology and counselling, massage therapy, strength and conditioning, and other rehabilitation and movement-based services offered within the clinic.

The goal is to help you feel confident answering general questions, directing inquiries, and supporting clients in navigating their care.
