Full job description

We're looking for an apprentice who already knows what it means to work in the trades. You don't need years of plumbing experience — but you need to have been on job sites before and be ready to hit the ground running on commercial and industrial work.About Harco

Since 2005, Harco Plumbing and Mechanical has been a trusted commercial and industrial plumbing contractor across the Kitchener-Waterloo region, including Cambridge, Guelph, and surrounding areas. We specialize in complex systems — many in food industry facilities — and offer 24/7 emergency service, complete system design and build, and advanced diagnostics. Our apprentices work alongside experienced journeymen on real, meaningful projects from day one.

What you'll be doing

Work alongside journeymen on commercial and industrial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
Assist with emergency service calls and respond efficiently under pressure
Learn advanced diagnostic tools and plumbing systems on the job
Support design and build projects from start to finish
Maintain safe, organized job sites and follow Ontario plumbing codes

What you need

Enrolled in an Ontario 306A plumbing apprenticeship required
Prior trades experience — plumbing, mechanical, construction, or similar required
Valid Ontario driver's licence required
Ability to pass a background check
Comfortable working at heights, on man lifts, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Dependable, professional, and ready to work in a fast-paced commercial environment
Available for overtime and occasional weekends
Own basic hand tools asset
G1 or G2 gas licence asset
