Job Summary

Join our fast-paced sushi restaurant team as a Server/Busser and become an important part of creating exceptional dining experiences!

We are looking for someone who is energetic, reliable, quick to learn, and enjoys working in a busy team environment. In this role, you will support servers, provide excellent guest service, keep tables and the restaurant clean and organized, and help ensure smooth operations.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist servers in taking food and beverage orders.
Clear tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service.
Refill beverages, deliver food orders, and assist with food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
Support servers by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and managing side stations to ensure smooth flow during busy hours.
Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols by handling food properly and maintaining cleanliness in all dining areas.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service delivery.
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering duties, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure guest orders are prepared correctly and served promptly.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Maintain a friendly attitude, provide excellent guest services, and handle guest inquiries professionally.

Experience

Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering is highly desirable.
Experience in hospitality or the food industry helps foster excellent guest services and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude combined with good communication skills will contribute to your success in this role.
