Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Outboard Marine Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining outboard motors and related marine equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a passion for marine technology. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on outboard motors and marine systems
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and part replacements on outboard engines
Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble marine equipment
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure optimal engine performance and safety standards
Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings effectively to customers
Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all repair activities
Assist with inventory management of parts and tools necessary for repairs

Experience

Prior experience working with outboard motors or marine engines is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and repair tasks
Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., is required
Experience with power tools used in engine repair or maintenance is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for diagnosing issues accurately
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
