Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the front-of-house area, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Your leadership will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining smooth service flow, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hospitality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your restaurant management skills while fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests.

Duties

Supervise front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, bartenders, and food runners to deliver outstanding service
Coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring timely food and beverage service
Oversee food handling, serving, and food preparation processes to meet safety standards
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist to optimize guest flow
Handle cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions using Micros POS systems accurately
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and alcohol licensing laws
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and resolve any service issues
Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that reflect our brand values

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Extensive food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
Proficiency in using POS systems such as Micros for cash handling and order processing
Experience in restaurant management including reservation systems, staffing schedules, and inventory control
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of hospitality standards from hotel or barista experience is a plus
Strong communication skills for interviewing, team management, and customer interactions
Familiarity with food handling procedures, serving etiquette, and kitchen operations
