Now hiring Serving Bartenders and Backline Porting staff.

Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ)

CAMROSE, ALBERTA

July 30 - August 2, 2026
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Positions:

Bartender
Porter

Salary:

Bartender: $16.25/hour + TIPS
Porter: $21.25/hour + TIPS

Availability:

Open and Close times (shifts vary within these times):

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday July 30-August 2: 12:00pm - 2:00am

Accommodation options:

1. Staff Camping (complimentary access, bring your own equipment)

2. You have your own accommodations, and/or will be traveling to/from site

General Duties & Expectations:

Bartenders (frontline):

Sell beverage products to patrons via POS (point-of-sale) systems, accepting card payment only
Salable products include bottled water, canned varieties, and ounce alcohol. Hard alcohol mixes are kept simple (ie. highball)
Assist stocking cups, ice, etc when necessary
Keep working area clean and tidy

Porters (backline):

Keep products stocked
Keep products chilled with ice
Carry canned products short distances (~30 lbs each)
Keep working area clean and tidy and break down cardboard

REQUIREMENTS:

All staff must be 18 years of age or older.
Legally able to work in Canada
Both Bartending and Porting staff must hold a valid Alberta ProServe certification.
You will need to source transportation and food for yourself and/or your group.
