Remote Appointment Setter / Telemarketer – Group Benefits and Group Retirement (Lower Mainland, BC)

Whelton Insurance · Remote (Greater Vancouver / Lower Mainland preferred) · Part-time or full-time, flexible hours Pay: $25/hour guaranteed + $100–$400 bonus per confirmed appointment

About the role

Whelton Insurance is a Langley-based group benefits consultancy that helps BC employers design and manage employee benefits plans and group retirment plans. We're looking for a confident, well-spoken caller to book introductory meetings between business owners/HR decision-makers and our consultants.

This is a phone-first role. You'll be working from a provided list of BC businesses, introducing our services, qualifying interest, and booking a virtual or in-person meeting. Every confirmed appointment that the prospect accepts earns you a bonus on top of your hourly wage — this is not commission-only.

What you'll do

Make outbound calls to business owners, HR managers and office managers at BC companies
Give a short, clear introduction to what we do and why a benefits review is worth their time
Qualify the prospect (company size, current benefits situation, decision-maker)
Book virtual or in-person meetings directly into our calendar and send confirmations
Log every call and outcome in our CRM / call sheet
Follow up on warm leads and reschedule when needed

Compensation

$25.00 per hour, guaranteed for all hours worked
Plus a bonus of $100 to $400 for every confirmed and accepted appointment. The bonus depends on the meeting type (virtual or in-person) and the size of the organization — larger employers and in-person meetings pay more.
Bonuses are paid in addition to hourly pay, not instead of it

Hours and location

Fully remote. You'll need a quiet workspace, reliable internet and a computer.
Flexible schedule — you set your own hours, as long as calls happen during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, roughly 8:30 am–5:00 pm Pacific).
Candidates located in the Greater Vancouver / Lower Mainland area are preferred.

Who we're looking for

Previous outbound calling, appointment setting, telesales or inside sales experience
Clear, friendly, professional phone manner; comfortable speaking with business owners and executives
Resilient and self-motivated — you can work independently and stay productive without supervision
Organized; comfortable using a CRM, shared calendar and basic office software
Bonus points for experience in insurance, group benefits, financial services or any B2B service sales
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
