Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Bartender to join our team on a full time basis. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by crafting exceptional cocktails and providing exceptional service. Salary: $16-$17/hr + gratuities
Shifts: Full Time/Permanent. Weekdays, weekends, days and evenings.

Key Responsibilities

Create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for guests, providing personalized and attentive service.
Prepare and serve a wide variety of expertly crafted cocktails, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and other beverages, and provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and menu offerings.
Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between the bar and the kitchen, especially in relation to food and cocktail pairings.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, utensils, and ingredients, following health and safety regulations at all times.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, actively listening to their preferences and anticipating their needs to deliver exceptional service.
Provide accurate and efficient handling of cash transactions, ensuring the proper recording of all sales and maintaining strict accountability.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new beverage products, and mixology techniques, and incorporate them into the development of innovative and enticing cocktail offerings.
Assist in training and mentoring junior bar staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-end or fine dining restaurant environment is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and graciously with guests and colleagues.
A passion for providing exceptional customer service, with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of beverages even during peak hours.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for handling transactions.
Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the demands of the business.
