Carleton Place IDA Drugmart is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Community Pharmacist to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. As a pharmacist at our pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and promote a holistic approach to healthcare.
Administer vaccinations and injections in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Conduct medication reviews and offer personalized recommendations to enhance patient understanding and adherence.
Offer diabetes management and education to patients, leveraging your certified diabetic educator qualification.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in all interactions.
Respond to patient inquiries and provide medication-related advice in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, ensuring proper storage and handling of medications.
Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, regulations, and medical advancements.

Qualifications:

Registered Pharmacist in the province of Ontario, in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Injection certification, allowing you to administer vaccinations and injections.
First aid training, ensuring you can respond effectively in medical emergencies.
Certification as a diabetic educator is considered an asset.
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology.
