Full job description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Resident Care Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will provide compassionate support and assistance to individuals in an assisted living facility. Your dedication to caregiving will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

What you’ll do

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs to ensure residents' health and safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in living spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
Support residents with meal preparation and dietary needs while accommodating any special requests or restrictions.

Basic qualifications

Experience in senior care or long-term care settings is preferred.
Registered Care Aide.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities or in group home environments.
Knowledge of behavior management techniques and social work principles.
