Full job description

Laidlaw Carriers – Reefer Division

Laidlaw Carriers is currently seeking experienced AZ Drivers to join our Reefer Division. This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy being on the road and are comfortable staying in the truck 4–6 days at a time. This is not a home-daily position.

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

We are looking for serious, experienced drivers who are ready to commit to consistent long-haul work.
If you are just exploring options or “kicking tires,” we kindly ask that you consider applying when you are ready to move forward with a new opportunity.

Compensation

$0.55 per mile
$0.02 per mile premium on all dispatched reefer miles
$0.07 per mile Seaboard premium
8,000–10,000 miles per month (current driver average)

Paid layovers

What We Do

Reefer runs hauling fresh & frozen food
Operating within a 500-mile radius of the Great Lakes
Consistent freight = consistent miles and pay

Requirements

Valid AZ driver’s license
Minimum 2 years of verifiable AZ experience
Experience with reefer operations preferred
Clean driver abstract and CVOR
Comfortable with cross-border and multi-day runs

This Role May Not Be a Fit If:

You do not meet the 2-year experience requirement
You are not comfortable being out 4–6 days at a time
You are not ready to start in the near future
