We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual with from scratch baking experience to join our baking team!

Location: Westhills Shopping Centre

This is a position working from 3am-10am, 5 days/week

Overview:

40 hours per week
Scheduled 5 days per week
Must be able to work 3-10am

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will:

Work as part of a small team to bake products from scratch early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, molding and shaping dough, and processing everything through the ovens
Also work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and provide delightful customer service

Who we’re looking for:

You thrive working in a fast-paced environment
Leadership, teamwork & communication is important to you
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in baking and presentation.
You can easily transport yourself to your work location
You have at least 2-3 years experience working as a Baker
You have a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency
Prior experience in baking from scratch is advantageous.
If you have a passion for baking, along with the necessary skills to thrive in a dynamic bakery environment, we encourage you to apply

Physical Requirements:

Continuous standing/ walking for all tasks
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 9 kg.
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg.
Frequent turning and reaching
Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
