Job Overview
We are seeking someone with excellent people skills as a Dental Administrator/Treatment Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical office management skills, proficiency with dental software, and strong organization and interpersonal skills. This role involves managing administrative functions, maintaining patient relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards to deliver exceptional patient care and efficient practice management. We are an established family clinic that's looking to grow. We aren't open any evenings or weekends so the hours are excellent.

Duties

Manage all aspects of dental office administration, including scheduling, patient records, and billing processes.
Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations
Maintain accurate medical and dental records and manage dental software such as ClearDent, Dentrix or AkituOne
Contact patients to maintain schedule and book outstanding hygiene and treatment.
Submit dental insurance and collect insurance payments
Collect payment from patients
Answer phones and schedule patients
Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize workflow efficiency and improve patient service delivery.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service
Computer competency
Familiarity with medical privacy regulations and medical records management.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage financial operations effectively.
Background in healthcare management or dental clinic experience preferred.
Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of dental terminology and healthcare regulations is essential.
Prior experience in dental environments is advantageous but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team within a well-established dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through effective office management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
