Zentra Protection Ltd. is a growing security company serving the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to help drive our next stage of growth.
This is not a typical office position. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting new people, creating opportunities, and helping grow a business from the ground up. You'll work closely with leadership to expand our client base, strengthen our brand, and support daily business operations.
This hybrid role consists of approximately 60% Business Development & Sales, 30% Marketing, and 10% Administrative Support. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent in the field, meeting clients, attending networking events, building partnerships, and representing Zentra Protection within the community.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community engagement.
- Contact prospective clients through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
- Schedule, coordinate, and attend client meetings and presentations.
- Build long-term relationships with commercial, industrial, construction, and property management clients.
- Follow up on inquiries and quotations to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate consistent business growth.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurately update CRM records.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and assist with contract administration.
- Research potential clients, industry trends, competitors, and emerging business opportunities.
- Represent Zentra Protection at networking events, trade shows, business associations, community events, and industry functions.
Marketing
- Manage and grow the company's presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create engaging social media content, short-form videos, and promotional campaigns using Canva and CapCut.
- Assist with website updates, online listings, and Google Business Profile optimization.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement and lead generation.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and support sales efforts.
- Capture photos and videos from projects, events, and company activities for marketing purposes.
Administration
- Maintain accurate client records and CRM data.
- Assist with office organization and document management.
- Support basic bookkeeping tasks, including expense tracking, data entry, and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Coordinate appointments, calendars, and client communications.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in business development, sales, account management, or client relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build relationships, and convert opportunities into clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating digital content using Canva and CapCut.
- Professional, confident, and comfortable communicating with business owners and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take initiative and contribute ideas.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
- Must be based in or near Chilliwack, BC.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland to meet clients and attend business events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the security industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience within the construction, property management, facilities management, or industrial sectors is considered a strong asset.
- Previous experience working in a startup or fast-growing business.
- Experience with B2B sales and business development.
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Business Profile, email marketing, and digital advertising is an asset.
- Existing professional network within the Fraser Valley business community is an advantage.
- Experience representing a company at networking events, trade shows, or community functions.
