Full job description

Property Management Coordinator (Independent Contractor)

The Apsouris Group is a growing residential and commercial property management and real estate team based in Chilliwack, BC. We are looking for an organized, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

This is an independent contractor position based out of our Chilliwack office. The role offers a flexible work schedule, with hours varying depending on operational needs, workload and the time of month or year. As our business continues to grow, this position will evolve, offering the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities and grow with our company.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may evolve over time as our business grows and operational needs change. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Preparing tenancy agreement packages and property management agreement packages
Preparing tenancy notices, inspection notices, letters and general correspondence
Reviewing and assisting with the screening of prospective tenants
Coordinating maintenance and repairs with owners, tenants and contractors
Scheduling and coordinating trades and following repairs through to completion
Communicating with tenants, property owners, contractors and our office
Conducting property inspections and preparing inspection reports
Assisting with tenancy administration and arbitration preparation
Supporting the management of residential and commercial properties
Assisting with various aspects of our real estate sales operations as needed
Providing general administrative and operational support to the team

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

Highly organized and detail-oriented
Professional, dependable and self-motivated
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A strong written and verbal communicator
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Proficient with computers and willing to learn new software and systems
Adaptable and eager to take on new responsibilities as the role evolves

Requirements

Valid BC Driver's Licence (required)
Reliable vehicle available for business travel
Willingness to travel as required throughout the Fraser Valley, Metro Vancouver and other areas depending on business needs

Assets

Experience in property management, real estate, office administration or a related field
Licensed Rental Property Manager and/or REALTOR® licence
Experience using Buildium or other property management software
Experience with social media marketing and online advertising
