Detailed Overview:
Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
Working in close collaboration with the Indigenous Health Collaborative Council (IHCC) and its partners, including the Ministry of Health, First Nations Health Authority, First Nations Health Council, Metis Nation British Columbia, Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association and Frist Nations communities, coordinates and facilitates the conduct and effective implementation of IHCC projects, initiatives, or improvement processes.
Acts as facilitator and communication link among the IHCC and its partners to ensure initiatives/projects are advancing as set out in project charters and work plans. Coordinates information flow among the teams/members by obtaining input from partners re: project scope, proposed methodology and deliverables; conducts background literature research for IHCC initiatives/projects based on evidence-based and best practices for use by project teams; summarizes and presents information findings; develops recommendations to partners based on research findings and evaluation of processes, methodologies and outcomes. Assists in the development of plans and strategies; coordinates implementation processes among the IHCC and its partners to ensure successful implementation.
Provides a variety of high level confidential administrative support for the IHCC and its partners; Coordinates and supports IHCC meetings and communication materials, prepares and reviews a variety of reports and correspondence, maintains the IHCC decision and action log, and is the central point of contact for IHCC members, external contractors and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and delivers project support for the IHCC and its partners on assigned IHCC projects and initiatives.

Collaborates with IHCC members and partners to obtain input in developing project scope, methodology and deliverables.

Collaborates with internal staff, IHCC members and its partners as required/appropriate to gather, clarify or share information.

Develops information-gathering criteria and conducts literature reviews from a variety of sources related to evidence-based and best-practice methodologies appropriate to IHCC projects/initiatives.

Utilizing relevant literature, key metrics and best-practice outcomes and processes, evaluates and summarizes information findings; prepares summary reports and briefing notes to document and present data and information; develops conclusions and recommendations for presentation to Executive Director and IHCC members to support development of project scope and outcomes.

Collaborates with the IHCC to obtain input regarding project scope and deliverables; develops project timeframes and required actions for review and approval. Serves as communication link for required information, processes, and timelines to IHCC members to facilitate project advancement through all stages.

Maintains knowledge of the project schedule(s), deliverables and commitments as set out in project charters and other work plans.

Coordinates information flow related to the projects; with/among teams; communicates directly with IHCC and partners; assists in development of strategy for effective Implementation of the IHCC priorities.

Facilitates liaison between IHCC and sub committees to ensure that standards and policies are developed in accordance with needs and standards of end users. Acts as the central point of contact for IHCC members, external contractors and staff.

Coordinates, schedules, attends and supports regular meetings of the IHCC. Creates and distributes agenda and other related materials, records and composes minutes, and maintains the IHCC decision and action log and follows up as required.

Prepares and reviews a variety of confidential material including project proposals, reports, memos, and presentations as required.

Monitors project expenditures, reports on variances and informs Executive Director on budget status on a regular basis.

Provides input and assists in the development of work processes related to Quality and Improvement.

Participates on assigned internal and external committees as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences or health-related field, including two (2) years' recent related project and/or coordinator experience preferably in a health-related environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
