Team-Oriented Operations
At Griffin Security, backup is always available when needed. Officer safety, teamwork, and communication are a major part of our operations.
Hands-On Security Work
This is an active security position requiring professionalism, confidence, and good judgment. Possession of AST certification is considered an asset.
Guards may be required to:
- Remove unwanted subjects from properties
- Conduct arrests when legally required
- Handle disturbances, trespassing, and theft incidents
- Alarm Responce
- Respond professionally to unpredictable situations
Medical & Public Safety Response
Guards may be expected to provide first aid and assist during emergencies. Possession of First Aid certificate is considered an asset.
Our teams regularly respond to:
- Medical emergencies
- Mental health-related incidents
- Opioid poisoning / overdose calls
- Welfare checks and public assistance calls
Equipment & Training Provided
Successful applicants will be provided with:
- Company uniform
- Body armour
- Radio equipment
- Body camera
- First aid equipment
- Required operational gear
You will gain valuable experience in communication, leadership, professionalism, and public safety operations.

Requirements:
- Must possess a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Valid BC Security Worker’s Licence (BST)
- AST certification is an asset
- First Aid certification is an asset

Full-Time:

Pay: $18.50-$21.55 per hour
