Fabtech Design and Build is seeking a Design Technician to help convert architectural and structural drawings into high-quality prefabricated wall panels using MiTek software. This role is essential to delivering precise and efficient design solutions for multi-family construction projects.

About Fabtech Design and Build
We specialize in prefabricated wall panel solutions that streamline construction, enhancing speed and safety from design to installation. Known for our custom wall packages and comprehensive project management, we are committed to quality and innovation in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Use MiTek software to convert architectural and structural drawings into prefabricated wall panel designs.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Support the production team by providing accurate and detailed design plans.
Ensure all designs adhere to quality standards and project specifications.
Contribute to optimizing workflows and improving design processes.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: 1+ years of experience in design within the construction or prefabricated wall building industry (required)
Skills: Proficient in MiTek software with a strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to produce accurate, high-quality design plans.
Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative work.
Education: Post-secondary education in drafting, architecture, or a related field is an asset.
