About Us

XCEED Machine Works Inc. is a leading North American distributor and service provider specializing in ROOTS Blowers, compressors, gear drives, centrifugal pumps, and custom packaged equipment systems for industrial, mobile, mining, and municipal wastewater applications. We also operate a full-service resource center dedicated to aftermarket rotating equipment repair and refurbishment.

Position Summary

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Industrial Sales Representative to drive business development across British Columbia. In this hybrid role, you will leverage your technical knowledge of rotating equipment to build client relationships, identify new pipeline opportunities, and deliver tailored equipment solutions across key industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management: Proactively identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing industrial accounts across BC.
Technical Solution Sales: Consult with clients to understand technical requirements, review drawings and manuals, and propose optimal rotating equipment or aftermarket repair solutions.
Proposal & RFQ Management: Log, prepare, and present comprehensive proposals, bids, and RFQ responses in a timely manner.
Sales Planning & Forecasting: Partner with the Sales Manager to set annual revenue targets, manage key account metrics, and maintain accurate pipeline data within our CRM.
Territory Coverage: Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and travel as required within the designated territory.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven success in industrial sales, with direct experience in rotating equipment and Positive Displacement (PD) blowers.
Education: AEC / DEP, Skilled Trade Certificate, Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated capability to read engineering drawings, interpret equipment specifications, and navigate complex contract procurement procedures.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and hands-on experience using CRM software for account and opportunity tracking.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract (required for territory travel).

Pay: $50,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
