Full job description

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and ensure the dental office runs efficiently. *Responsibilities* - Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients - Assist the dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies *Requirements* - Certification or associate degree in Dental Assisting - Proficiency in Dentrix, Epic, and CAD software preferred - Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is a plus - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist is advantageous - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Join our team and contribute to providing high-quality dental care to our patients while advancing your career in the dental field.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
