Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Compensation: $50,000 per annum

Summary:
The Office Administrator provides day-to-day administrative and customer service support for Northumberland Operations. This role is responsible for general office administration, maintaining accurate records, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting daily operational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Greet and assist customers and visitors upon arrival at the office.
- Answer, screen, and transfer inbound calls; check voicemail and email regularly for messages
- Address customer concerns and provide appropriate direct support and/or escalate to management as needed.
- Dispatching residential calls/complaints to Route Supervisor and Drivers
- Correspond and communicate with the county administrator regarding road/route disruptions.
- Dispatch commercial drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers’ locations and daily factors to balance cost and speed of response.
- Utilize the TRUX software system to complete daily route closure and review billing reports for accuracy.
- Monitoring and tracking of commercial driver’s productivity
- Complete daily payroll and reconciliation reports in Ceridian Dayforce
- Resolve billing issues or discrepancies, providing clear and timely communication with customers.
- Oversee municipal invoicing, address inquiries from the county, and ensure billing aligns with contractual terms, rates and agreements.
- File and maintain all administrative documents; update daily records; perform any other general administrative duties as required (both manual paper and electronic filing system).
- Print and distribute various documents and announcements.
- Coordinate purchasing transactions such as office supplies and other items as requested to support the Northumberland operation.
- Provide support to the management team with other projects and duties as assigned.
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Successful candidates should have at least 6 months experience, as an Office Administrator
- You must be a team player, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You must possess excellent knowledge on PC based systems such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc
- You must be able to work in fast paced environment
- You should have the ability to pay attention to details
