Full job description

Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food handling, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure all team members excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions with cash handling skills
Prepare and serve food and beverages according to safety and sanitation standards, including food handling and basic food preparation
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations, dining areas, and service counters
Assist with food presentation, upselling menu items, and recommending specials to enhance guest satisfaction
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient table turnover
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed, including cashiering and serving duties

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order entry and cashiering
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during peak hours
Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and upselling opportunities
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
Basic kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
Upselling skills to promote menu items and increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
