Cabeza Grande Cochrane is a fun, fast paced Mexican inspired Taco and Tequila bar located in Heartland, Cochrane. We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced cook to assist in leading our kitchen team. All employees receive a discount at our sister properties: Cabeza Grande Canmore, Cabeza Grande Bridgeland, Woodward pizza co, Canmore Cannabis, Cochrane Cannabis, Bow Valley beer co.

We are looking for a Kitchen Supervisor to supervise daily back of house restaurant operations reporting to the kitchen manager.

Kitchen Supervisor responsibilities include supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage our kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food on time.

Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.

Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Conflict management abilities
Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, holidays
minimum 1 year experience in a similar fast paced kitchen environment

Salary: From 18.00- $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Cochrane, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
