Position Overview

CSN Collision is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter Prepper to join our busy team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for the painting process, ensuring a high-quality finish. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the success of our painting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and cleaning as necessary.
Mask off areas of the vehicle that do not require painting to ensure precision.
Inspect surfaces to identify imperfections and ensure that they are rectified before painting.
Collaborate closely with painters to ensure a smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Handle and mix paint materials according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform quality checks on surfaces after preparation.
Assist in maintaining painting equipment and tools in good condition.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a painter prepper or in a related auto body role.
Familiarity with various painting and preparation techniques.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform the tasks required in this role.
A valid driver’s license is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in auto body repair or painting is a plus.

Benefits

Supplemental Pay: Bonus, Overtime as per policy
Benefits: Education reimbursement on related courses, health, dental, Long term Disability and life insurance.

Schedule:

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, additional as required.
