Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure accurate accounting practices, timely processing of transactions, and smooth financial operations. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly to ensure consistency
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve them efficiently
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards
HST preparation and filing

Requirements

Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting tasks in a professional setting
Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processes, and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation accurately
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account analysis processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines in a part-time capacity
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors
