Account Director - Nuclear
Location: Pickering, Ontario (on site)
Contract:12 Months (40 hours/week) with possibility of extension
Compensation: negotiable based on experience

Who is the employer?
Raise has partnered with a leading organization in the nuclear industry that is committed to supporting critical nuclear generation and refurbishment programs across Ontario. As the organization continues to strengthen its strategic partnership with Ontario Power Generation, they are seeking an experienced OPG Account Director to lead customer engagement, account growth, and long-term business strategy.
What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Product Line Manager, the OPG Account Director will lead the organization's strategic engagement with Ontario Power Generation, ensuring alignment between customer priorities, organizational capabilities, and long-term growth objectives.
Practically speaking, you will:

Lead and execute the strategic account plan for Ontario Power Generation.

Build, maintain, and expand executive-level relationships throughout OPG.

Develop and manage a robust opportunity pipeline while achieving growth objectives.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across OPG nuclear programs.

Conduct account mapping and stakeholder engagement activities across key business units.

Maintain strong relationships within engineering, project delivery, operations, and executive leadership teams.

Support the development of partnerships, alliances, and strategic collaborations.

Analyze market conditions, industry trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities.

Develop commercial strategies that strengthen the organization's position within OPG.

Negotiate and coordinate master service agreements and commercial arrangements in collaboration with internal teams.

Prepare and deliver business intelligence, market insights, account updates, and KPI reporting.

Collaborate closely with engineering, proposal, project delivery, operations, and executive leadership teams to align customer needs with organizational capabilities.

Support business development activities related to major nuclear refurbishment, life extension, and capital project initiatives.

Serve as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and OPG customers.
What you will bring

15+ years of progressive leadership experience within the nuclear industry.

Extensive knowledge of Ontario Power Generation's nuclear business, structure, programs, and stakeholders.

Proven experience managing strategic customer relationships at the executive level.

Strong understanding of nuclear commercial agreements and business development practices.

Demonstrated success growing major customer accounts and identifying new business opportunities.

Experience working with or supporting large-scale nuclear refurbishment and life extension programs.

Exceptional relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Strong strategic planning and market intelligence capabilities.

Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive consensus across multiple groups.

Experience collaborating with engineering, operations, proposal teams, project delivery organizations, and executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated success managing strategic relationships within Ontario's nuclear industry.

Established professional network across key stakeholders involved in nuclear operations, engineering, major capital projects, and refurbishment programs.

Experience supporting large-scale nuclear generation, refurbishment, life extension, or major infrastructure projects.

Experience working within highly regulated environments and complex stakeholder organizations.

Familiarity with Vendor of Record (VOR) programs and strategic procurement frameworks within the nuclear sector.

Strong understanding of nuclear commercial agreements, partnership development, and long-term account growth strategies.

Recognized industry credibility and the ability to engage effectively with executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.
