Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teacher to instruct Math and English programs for elementary and intermediate students. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire young learners, foster academic growth, and develop engaging lesson plans in a supportive educational environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, experience working with children, and a strong background in Math and English subjects. This position is perfect for educators looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.

Duties

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Math and English tailored to elementary and intermediate levels
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development
Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs
Utilize computer skills to prepare instructional materials and incorporate technology into lessons
Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure cohesive program delivery
Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods as necessary
Monitor attendance, participation, and behavioral progress of students during sessions

Requirements

Prior experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting
Strong knowledge of Math, English, and classroom management techniques
Experience with special education or working with diverse learning needs is a plus
Proficiency in computer skills, including the use of educational software and online resources
Classroom experience or teaching certification is preferred but not mandatory for all applicants
Passion for education, patience, and excellent communication skills
Ability to create an inclusive, motivating learning environment
Flexibility to work part-time hours that fit within school schedules or after-school programs

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
