Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our specialized memory care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, dementia care, and assisted living environments. As a leader within our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, managing staff, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for individuals with memory impairments. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and their families while demonstrating excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff members to ensure consistent, compassionate care for residents with memory impairments.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, preferences, and medical conditions.
Oversee medication administration in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Monitor residents’ health status and collaborate with healthcare providers to address medical concerns promptly.
Manage the facility’s budget, including staffing schedules, supplies, and operational expenses.
Lead staff training sessions on dementia care best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incident reports, and regulatory records.
Foster a warm, respectful environment that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to assisted living and senior care facilities.

Requirements

Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings, particularly with seniors experiencing dementia or memory loss.
Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or managerial experience in senior care environments.
Knowledge of dementia care techniques and best practices for managing challenging behaviors.
Experience with budgeting, staff scheduling, and medication administration protocols.
Relevant certifications or licenses in nursing or senior care preferred; must meet state licensing requirements if applicable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compassionate demeanor with a genuine commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally while maintaining confidentiality.

Pay: $20.61-$37.20 per hour
