The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to join us on a 6-month contract starting June 1, 2026, with strong potential to extend. This is a fully remote, execution-focused role — you will be doing the work, not managing vendors or layers of process.
You will be embedded directly in active client projects and internal growth initiatives, covering the full digital marketing stack. Education sector is your native environment — you understand how schools think, how parents search and how enrolment decisions are made.
If you are the kind of specialist who finds it satisfying to open Ahrefs, fix a technical SEO issue, launch a Google Ads campaign, and update a Webflow page all in the same week — this role was for you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Execute on-page and technical SEO across client websites
- Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns for clients — from setup and audience targeting through to ongoing performance reporting
- Develop and maintain websites
- Manage and optimize HubSpot CRM workflows, contact segmentation, email sequences, and lead tracking for client admissions pipelines
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using Ahrefs and Semrush, producing actionable reports and content briefs
- Implement AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to ensure clients appear in AI-generated search results across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini, and Bing Copilot
- Plan and execute social media content strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook aligned to student recruitment goals
- Write and publish SEO-optimized blog content and landing pages targeting education recruitment keywords
- Track performance across all channels using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, delivering monthly reporting with clear insights and next steps
- Apply AI tools responsibly and ethically throughout your workflow
What You Bring
These are requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a digital marketing agency environment, executing campaigns across multiple clients simultaneously
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in or with the education sector — K-12, private schools, higher education, tutorial centres, or language schools
- Proven hands-on experience with Wix, Webflow or Wordpress
- Active working knowledge of HubSpot - workflows, sequences, pipelines, and reporting
- Strong command of Ahrefs and/or Semrush for technical audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis
- Demonstrated experience running Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns with measurable ROI
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals — technical, on-page, and off-page
- Practical understanding of AI tools in a marketing workflow and a commitment to using them ethically and accurately
- Strong written English — you will be writing content for education audiences including parents, administrators, and institutional decision-makers
- Must have a valid work permit to work in Canada
Nice to Have
- Experience with AEO or GEO — optimizing content for AI-generated answers
- Familiarity with the international student recruitment landscape
- Experience marketing to Asian or Southeast Asian student audiences
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data implementation
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking setup
What We Offer
- Exposure to a specialist niche with strong demand
- Varied, fast-paced work across real education clients
- 6-month contract with genuine potential to extend based on performance
- Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed based on experience)
Important
This is a contract role. Applicants must have a valid work permit authorizing them to work in Canada.

Submit your application through Indeed. Please include a brief cover note (3–5 sentences) telling us which education institutions or sectors you have worked with and one specific digital marketing result you are proud of. Applications without a cover note will not be reviewed.
