Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a relaxing environment for clients, and contribute to the overall success of our salon. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in nail artistry, customer service, and retail sales while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
Upsell retail products such as nail care items, lotions, and polishes to enhance client experience and increase sales
Offer body waxing services as part of comprehensive beauty treatments (nice-to-have skill)
Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to continually improve skills

Requirements

Valid state license or certification as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist
Proven experience in nail care services with a strong portfolio of work (preferred but not required)
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Ability to upsell retail products naturally and confidently
Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly, professional demeanor
Basic knowledge of body waxing techniques is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
