Senior Financial Analyst – Analytics & Transformation

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Strategy, Analytics & Transformation to provide insight-driven support to leadership and help shape future business decisions. This skills-based role focuses on strategic analysis, financial modelling, and driving change across processes and systems.

Responsibilities will be defined based on business priorities and the candidate’s experience, and may evolve to include pricing and margin work, portfolio strategy, commercial initiatives, or large-scale transformation projects.

Key Focus Areas

Strategic & Commercial Finance

Build financial models for scenarios, business cases, and strategic options.
Assess profitability by product, customer, or channel and recommend actions.
Support leadership with concise, decision-ready analysis.

Analytics & Data Visualization

Work with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar).
Turn large, complex data sets into clear insights and dashboards.
Design recurring reporting that highlights key trends and performance drivers.

Transformation & Change Enablement

Contribute to process or systems transformation and cross-functional projects.
Collaborate with finance, operations, sales, IT, and other partners to gather requirements and support adoption.
Operate effectively amid ambiguity and evolving priorities.

AI, Automation & Innovation

Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline analyses and reporting, improve data quality, and free capacity for higher-value work.

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business , or related field (MBA/graduate degree an asset).
5+ years in finance, strategy, analytics, or related roles.
Demonstrated experience with advanced Excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools .
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and convert analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $97,800.00 to $146,600.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
