We are looking for a Senior Plastic Assembly Worker to join our existing team. The successful candidate will support the plastic assembly operations. This role requires expertise in plastic mould processes, injection moulding, working with a team, and a commitment to workplace safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the plastic moulding department.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to moulding processes, press machinery and moulds.
- Ensure assemblies meet requirements.
- Report on equipment maintenance and calibration requirements.
- Experienced working in a make to order environment.
- Assist in DFM process from prototype to full production status.
- Participate in supply chain management initiatives.
- Comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards.
- Staff and team optimization.
- Manage process audits and KPIs.
- Meet production targets.
Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of a minimum of High School Diploma.
- Bachelors degree is an asset.
- Minimum of 5+ years in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of injection moulding machines, processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
