Full job description

Job Overview
UR Law Professional Corporation is a growing general practice law firm based in Ontario, serving clients in immigration, real estate, criminal defence, civil litigation, family law, personal injury, and corporate matters. We are looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and keep our intake process running smoothly across all departments.

Arabic language fluency is strongly preferred, as a significant portion of our client base communicates in Arabic.

Duties

Answer and route all incoming client calls and monitor the firm's general email inbox
Conduct initial client intake and collect basic matter information
Enter new matters into Clio (our practice management software) and perform conflict searches
Forward inquiries to the appropriate lawyer or practice lead based on area of law
Coordinate document collection from clients and organize files in Clio
Schedule consultations and maintain the firm calendar
Assist lawyers and clerks across all departments with administrative and clerical tasks
Support billing coordination and general file management

Requirements

Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) strongly preferred
Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment
Familiarity with Clio or similar practice management software is an asset
Licensed paralegal status is an asset but not required
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask across multiple practice areas
Professional, client-facing communication style
Must be located in Ontario

Pay: $35,500.00-$55,000.00 per year

Work Location: Remote
